Colonial Molding is a manufacturer and importer
of picture frame molding and baroque readymade frames. We sell our
products exclusively to retail frame shops, wholesale distributors,
and OEM accounts. No sales are made to the general public. We are
located in Cookeville, Tennessee, on I-40 about
halfway between Nashville and Knoxville.
We carry a large
line of Baroque Readymade Frames. These are solid wood frames that
come in a variety of styles. Most are antique gold in color. Dealers
and Distributors can buy these frames from our warehouse or can buy
full containers shipped directly
from our plant in China.
All of our hardwood picture frame molding is manufactured
at our plant in Cookeville. We kiln dry Poplar, Oak, and Ash
lumber. When the moisture content of the lumber is just right, we
mill the raw boards into picture frame molding. Then we take the raw
milled molding into our finishing department and apply a variety of
the most popular wood tone finishes. Then the molding gets its final
inspection and is packaged for shipment.
To supplement the hardwood moldings
that we make in Tennessee, we import Gold and Silver Leaf moldings
from China. These moldings are time proven best sellers
and the stock depths are very deep. While we may not have hundreds
of different styles, we have many thousands
of feet of each molding in stock always.
